Today we're excited to announce the General Availability release of Sunshine Unified Profiles and Custom Events. Read the full announcement.
This announcement is a follow up to the announcement of our v2 API for Sunshine Profiles and Events and deprecation of the v1 Profiles and Events APIs.
Watch the demo below to see how Sunshine Unified Profiles and Custom Events gives you a complete view of a customer.
Access control changes
With the general availability release of Sunshine Unified Profiles and Custom Events, access to the v2 Profile and Events APIs and the Sunshine UI, shown in the demo above, will require a subscription.
If you were part of the early access program, your account will retain access until June 3rd after which point a subscription will be required.
Developer d3v- accounts will retain access.

If you would like sponsored access on your developer account
If you don't have a d3v- developer account or you would like to get your d3v- account to be sponsored for Sunshine Profiles and Events, follow the normal process.
If you're already using the v1 Profiles and Events API and haven't migrated to v2
The v1 APIs will be deprecated on April 6th. We recommend starting with the Sunshine Profiles and Events EAP - v2 API launch which details what you need to know and has links to our Profiles v2 API Specification, Events v2 API Specification and the API Migration Guide.
