    Hi Andrew -- welcome to the Apps framework area!

    For #1 above -- apps are installed per Zendesk instance, so once uploaded, all your agents get the app. No need to install per browser. See Managing your installed apps in Zendesk Chat for more tips as well.

    For #2 -- apps functionality is "sandboxed" into areas of the agent window. The area you mention above cannot be added to or modified by the app. That doesn't mean it's not a good idea, however.

    As you come up with requests such as this, please post to the Chat community Product Feedback area as well. Product Managers monitor that area for ideas and feedback such as this.
