We have released a new version of Chat SDK v2 for both iOS. This release fix issues around the setting of departments, pre-chat forms, building on M1 machines, and other fixes.

We have released new versions of Chat SDK v2 for both iOS and Android. This release introduces significant improves over how the Pre-chat Form is displayed on Android and iOS, in order to improve the end-user experience, and to alignment more closely with the Chat Web Widget. In addition, we have a number of bug fixes to improvement the overall reliability for the SDK.

We have released new versions of Chat SDK v2 for both iOS and Android. This release introduces one major new feature: User Authentication via JWT. In additional, we have increased our dark mode support on iOS to include Articles via Answer Bot, Support for AndroidX, as well as numerous bug fixes.

Chat SDK v1 is being replaced by the new Chat SDK v2, and that effective December 16, 2020, v1 will no longer be supported. More information on this change can be found here. We recommend that you migrate to Chat SDK v2 as soon as possible in order to take advantage of the reliability and stability improvements that this version brings, and to ensure that your Chat integration is well supported into the future.
